A smart hot water cylinder that heats only the volume of water you need on demand, with thermal stratification monitoring and grid-flexibility integration.

A Mixergy cylinder is a UK-designed smart hot water cylinder. Unlike a conventional cylinder which heats the entire 200L volume to use 50L of hot water, a Mixergy uses controlled stratification and an internal sensor stack to heat only the volume actually needed (e.g. one shower's worth). The result is 30-40% lower standing losses and faster recovery.

Mixergy also exposes an API and integrates natively with Octopus Intelligent, Loop and other tariff/load-shifting platforms. You can schedule it to heat from solar PV surplus, from cheap-rate grid windows, or both. The iHP variant adds a built-in heat pump module, suiting flats and apartments where a separate outdoor unit is not feasible.
