Octopus Go
An off-peak EV-focused tariff offering a 5-hour cheap overnight window (typically 23:30-05:30) at around 7p/kWh.
Octopus Go is the EV-driver staple tariff. It provides 5 hours per night (23:30-05:30) at around 7p/kWh with the rest of the day at the standard variable rate (~24p/kWh in May 2026). Charging a 70kWh EV from 20% to 80% costs around £3.
Intelligent Octopus Go is the upgraded variant: Octopus connects directly to compatible EVs (Tesla, Hyundai, Kia, Renault, BYD and many more) or compatible chargers (Ohme, Hypervolt, Indra, Wallbox), and you simply tell the app when you want the car ready. Intelligent dispatches charging across cheap-rate windows that often extend beyond the 23:30-05:30 base, sometimes giving 7p/kWh outside the standard window.
Go and Intelligent Go also extend to the rest of the household for those 5 hours, so you can run dishwashers, laundry, hot water immersion top-ups and battery charging at the cheap rate. See our EV charger installation page or call 01209 596 002.
